DESCRIPTION:After a few spring like days in late February\, we are full of optimism for the year ahead at BASE Bordon. Why not take half a morning of your time and come to our BASE Connect free networking event. If you’re looking to meet new contacts\, spark collaborations\, have great conversations\, enjoy helping others\, or just need to recharge your energy\, you cannot be in a better place. \nJoin us on Friday 13th March\, 10:00 to 12:00 for BASE Connect Networking at BASE Bordon. It’s free\, everyone is friendly\, and the room will be full of local business owners who want to help each other grow. \nWhy come along: \n☕ Meet real business owners and decision-makers\, not card collectors \n🤝 No sales pitches\, no pressure\, just genuine conversations \n🥐 Coffee\, pastries\, and a relaxed morning that could spark your next big idea \nThis month our event is being sponsored and co-hosted by The Federation of Small Business. If you employ people\, this is one networking event you shouldn’t miss. Join us\, for this FSB/BASE Connect event with local business advisor Rachel Harris and HR expert Sarah-Louise Greenaway. They’ll be giving a short briefing on the new Employment Rights Act — what’s changing\, what it means for you\, and the actions you should be taking now. Employment law isn’t optional\, and getting it wrong is expensive. Stay ahead of the risk\, come and ask questions\, and of course\, there’ll be plenty of time to connect with other local business owners too. \nAs usual\, the event will be hosted by David Payne\, our Centre Manager\, and Michael Gordeev our Business Support Manager. We are looking forward to meeting you and hearing more about your business. \nThis regular monthly event is always completely free. You are welcome to bring a colleague or friend if you like – the more local connections\, the better. \nThese events consistently bring together brilliant people from all sectors – service providers\, trades\, creatives\, consultants\, founders\, and professionals. If you’ve been meaning to connect with the local business scene\, this is your chance. \nSee you on the 13th March! – Team BASE Bordon \nFAQ\nIs the networking free? – Yes it is completely free and always will be\, we want to make networking accessible to all and for local businesses to connect no matter what their size.\nIs there somewhere to park? – yes\, there are plenty of parking spaces in front and behind the building (go past reception and carry on round to the right and behind the building). If the car park is full please use the Phoenix Theatre car park at at the end of the road.\nWill there be refreshments? – yes there will be snacks and refreshments available.\nI have never been networking before and am a little nervous – please let us know if this is the case and we will make sure to greet you and introduce you to a couple of people to get you started\, or you can start off in the quiet corner.\nI can only come for some of the time – that is absolutely fine\, you don’t have to stay for the full 2 hours\, just turn up when you can\, and leave when you want to.\nCan I bring a friend? – yes the more the merrier – just make sure they also register so we know how many people are coming as the meeting is limited to 45 people.\nIf I change my mind on the day is that okay? – yes we absolutely understand that things come up\, so just let us know via email and register for next month’s instead. \nIf you have any other questions please get in contact with us at dpayne@oxin.co.uk or RBasebordon@oxin.co.uk\nWe are looking for sponsors for this event from May 2026 onwards\, so please let us know if you might be interested.
