Meet the team at BASE Bordon

October 2nd 2023

We think it’s important for customers to get to know our team here at BASE, as this is what helps to form a community within our centre. For this reason we have created a series called ‘Meet the team at BASE Bordon’. Today we got to find out more about Louise Bampfield, Customer Experience Assistant at BASE Bordon.

What is your work history prior to being at BASE?

I have worked in a number of Administrative and Customer Service roles across a range of different sectors, including the Finance and Travel Industry.

What is your role at BASE and what sort of tasks to you carry out?

I am the Customer Experience Assistant here at BASE Bordon. My role is to ensure that the customers’ needs are met through the day to day running of the serviced reception, and to offer all of our visitors a warm welcome to the centre.

What do you love about working at BASE?

I enjoy meeting a wide range of people and companies. I also enjoy the varied nature of my role and being part of a small, supportive team.

What’s your biggest achievement at BASE to date?

My biggest achievement to date is my involvement with the behind the scenes work that goes into our monthly BASE Connect networking events.

What do you like to do outside of work?

I have a real passion for travel. This was first inspired from visiting the USA yearly throughout my childhood and then on to travel the world in my early 20’s. Following this I moved to Bangkok for a year with my husband. We now have two beautiful young children together and we intend to show them as much of the world as we can.

Interesting fact about you that most people won’t know about?

I met Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace.
