At our last meeting we asked the assembled business owners to give us a confidence rating, from their personal perspective, regarding the next 12 months for their business. Answers ranged from 4 out of 10 to a resolute 10 out of 10, but it is fair to say that many are at least concerned about what the next 12 months will bring. Bring those concerns to the next networking meeting, share them with your peers, and together we will not just find a way through the next 12 months, but emerge stronger!
This informal networking meeting is a great place to re-charge, make new contacts, spark collaborations or new ideas, have great conversations, and you enjoy helping others, this is the place to be every month or as often as you can make it.
Join us on Friday 12th June, 10:00 to 12:00 for BASE Connect Networking at BASE Bordon. It’s free, everyone is friendly, and the room will be full of local business owners who want to help each other grow. From June onward we are reverting to holding these events on the second Friday of each month (although we will take a vote at the next meeting on whether we pause for July and/or August in holiday season).

This regular monthly event is always completely free. You are welcome to bring a colleague or a friend if you like – the more local connections, the better – Just ask them to register through our website events page.

FAQ
Is the networking free? – Yes it is completely free and always will be, we want to make networking accessible to all and for local businesses to connect no matter what their size.
Is there somewhere to park? – yes, there are plenty of parking spaces in front and behind the building (go past reception and carry on round to the right and behind the building). If the car park is full please use the Phoenix Theatre car park at at the end of the road.
Will there be refreshments? – yes there will be snacks and refreshments available.
I have never been networking before and am a little nervous – please let us know if this is the case and we will make sure to greet you and introduce you to a couple of people to get you started.
I can only come for some of the time – that is absolutely fine, you don’t have to stay for the full 2 hours, just turn up when you can, and leave when you want to.
Can I bring a friend? – yes the more the merrier – just make sure they also register on Eventbrite so we know how many people are coming as the meeting is limited to 45 people.
If I change my mind on the day is that okay? – yes we absolutely understand that things come up, so just let us know via email and register for next month’s instead.
