Occupiers and staff at BASE Bordon Innovation Centre in Bordon, East Hampshire, celebrate the first 12 months to the day since the doors officially opened. There are now 29 businesses, with occupancy already at 74%. Operated by Oxford Innovation on behalf of Homes England, the centre has 31 offices on flexible rental terms, along with coworking space, business lounge memberships, meeting rooms for hire and virtual offices. On-site advice and support is provided by Richard May, Oxford Innovation’s innovation director for Hampshire. The centre was sympathetically converted from a former British Army officers’ mess.
Her illustrations grace banknotes and the passports of millions of people around the world. Now, closer to home, illustrator Lydia Fee has her latest work on permanent display at a new innovation centre for start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses in Bordon, East Hampshire.
